The true miracle of my life is that when I was deep in my sin, and nothing in me was seeking a spiritual life, Jesus found me. In 1978 through miraculous circumstances, He revealed His love for me through the gospel and His suffering on the cross. Because of one woman’s obedience to share truth with me, in a moment I knew without question that Jesus was the Son of God. I also knew, never having read the Bible, that whatever transpired on that cross forgave me of my sins and lifted me up out of the dominion of darkness.

I believe in the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three persons in one. Unless a man or woman is born again they will not be free from sin or have their blindness removed to understand the things of God. No one comes to the Father except through His Son, Jesus. Jesus, who knew no sin, became sin that we might become His righteousness.

God desires to reveal His secrets to His friends. In His call for us to be alert and to pray without ceasing, He leads us to be watchful of the days we are in. He will reveal to us through various means what He desires for us to see and know. This seeing and knowing happens best and most effectively in community, together with all the saints.

We were born again into a body, the body of Christ. Jesus is the only head of that body. Jesus desires that unity be found in Him and in His people who are the church. We must highly esteem one another as the saints and love each other.

I know because of Jesus’ heart for the lost, afflicted, and the broken that He wants us to love others with the same love that He loved us. Holy Spirit will remind us that there are many who need help, and are lost and dying without a savior. We are to be bold in our testimony as we mature in Christ because there might be just one who is ready. Remember, “These three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:13)
